The win against the feed

Just aded to the 1970's feel of the game. Tough fought in the rain, 2 all at half time. All the game needed was a blue with some sin binnings (did they have them in the 70's or would it have been a send off?)

I think it just tipified the ineptitude of the second tier team we played. I'm not hating on our win, just think that if they were full strength, they would have put 20 easily on us. Melbourne and Bellyache dont make those mistakes. I still think we are not running smooth enough yet to be genuine contenders. Saying that though, give our new halves a few weeks to gel and I think we are scary good coming into the finals. (god it's good to hear the name Sironen again)

It was a dud call that I am happy we got. Every other similar instance since the turn of the last millenium the referee has just blown the whistle and had the halfback refeed it. It didn't even get into the scrum.
