The worst thing about following a crap club

I am finding this season for the first time ever I can't be bothered watching games apart from our game each week.I have always liked watching the top sides playing each other simply because I love rugby league. But this with our team being garbage some weeks plus the ridiculous selection decisions by sheens I can barely watch our games and couldn't care less who wins the other games and this saddens me If I wasn't so hopeful of our youth coming through I don't know how much longer I could continue to watch the Game I have loved for 60 years

Yep
Ive gone from turning up most weeks to watch Balmain play (even when crap) to WT most weeks, all television games in between but now i'm down to basically watching no games at all with WT on record - if they win or put up a decent effort i'll watch but, the overall way the game has gone plus WT over the last 10 years has worn me down....I have better things to do in my retirement!

I think I'm a year or 2 ahead of you mate. I barely watch our games anymore because I know the result and it does my head in. I actually watch the other games with no emotion invested and it's actually alot more peaceful and enjoyable to watch.

Isn’t the worst thing losing, plus not seeing any major improvement. I’m still scratching my head trying to work out how we beat the Cows 66-18. Total aberration

Perfect storm, good run with injuries, confidence after beating Penrith, Joffa's last game, Cowboys off-night, up and about Leichhardt crowd, early momentum in our favor.

I'm not sure the Cowboys have lost since. They used that game as motivation. Our club used it as motivation to spruik themselves.
Totally correct, all the stars were aligned, but we peaked that night. I wished I’d known, I would have enjoyed it even more.
Wasn’t it Brooks 200 as well ?

I'm disappointed with the Wests Tigers organisation to the point I'm not too fussed either way if I see a game or not. I'm not blaming the blokes who take the field, I'm just sick of the seasonal spin followed by on field failure. This combined with what I see as baffling, imbecilic decisions on playing, coaching, and recruitment staff. Bottom line, I guess I just have better things to do with my limited time.

I think I’ve become so accustomed to our hopelessness that it doesn’t upset me that much anymore.
I still watch most of the games each week…usually have Super Saturday on in my shed whilst I’m working on stuff and sinking piss.
Sunday arvo games are the ones I miss a bit.
As for our games, wouldn’t miss them for the world. It fascinates me trying to predict how we’ll lose each week 🤣
