nah mate it cant, if there is a season ending injury or an injury that has a player out for more then 12 weeks there is salary cap consessions to allow players from outside the top 25 not to effect the salary cap
 
Lazarus has been re-signed twice (?) after season-ending knee injuries. That shows they have wraps on him as a player of the future.

Surely if he is going to ever get a run, now is the time. We've been very successful in the past few years throwing blokes like Lawrence, Ayshford and Fifita straight in and letting them sink or swim. Time for another young cub to step up.
 
Lazarus. Tupou and Taumata are on second tier WT contracts with Balmain. Akeripa and Davis are on the same type of contract with Wests.

The salary cap issue keeps been brought up around here in regards payments to second tier players. The fact is the club operates under the cap and has done so for years. The only thing they get sprung for is there wrong interpretation of 3rd party deals.

People can put any spin on it they want, Sheens has all these players at his disposal. If he wants to select them he can.

Thats right,and that is why I hate Sheens for selecting players who don't deserve to be there,and hiding behind this second tier cap BS,Lazarus and AJ have to come in,and Fitzy has to go out,then all will be good.

I agree, did well with bringing Blake Ayshford into the team last season.
Here's hoping we see lazarus playing for wests-tigers on fri night.
give him a chance, if not up to standard, after a few games, then do not pick him for a 4th or 5th game

Mullaney used to play in the halves but he isn't ready for firstgrade yet.
