Everyone makes a typo, but simple errors that are never learned. Pacific is another one. I could honestly head butt someone that says pacific instead of specific.

Mate I am astounded at how many people make this mistake with the words 'woman' or 'women'. I read it or hear someone say it wrongly every single day! They use the plural version when talking about one woman, as per your example above, but they also use the singular version when talking about two or more women. It completely does my head in!

I just don't understand how so many people can get it wrong all the time. It happens too often for it to just be a typo. Funnily enough people don't have the same problem with 'man' or 'men' and yet they are practically the same words! It's the 'wo' in front of it that seems to throw them.

I only fuel up at the Caltex in Hazelbrook or Glenbrook so I don't know any better. I bypass it now by paying at the pump with my StarCard.
