Mongs who do 10kmh under the speed limit on single lane highways and then accelerate to 25kmh over the speed limit when the overtaking lane opens up.

Mongs that hog the overtaking lane and don’t overtake ...
I’d give my left nut to be Highway Patrol for a day ...I’d make a killing !

Also Asian drivers coming up the mountains on weekends...
They are ? drivers !

But by far the worst on the road are the female P platers !

Oh man tourists are pus on the weekends. People crossing the road wherever they feel like it at Leura Mall.

Springwood is worse than Leura.
They may as well make the entire Main Street a pedestrian crossing .

Another subject is school and kids
Do teachers understand it’s been 35 years since some of us have been at school …especially Math …old Math teacher forever used to remind me their was more than one way to skin a cat
Well exactly …one could explain 5 different ways to get the answer …but if the kids don’t use the right workings that THEY want they will get failed …even if answer is correct
Note to teachers …please send home EXACTLY how you want it done first time BEFORE they start doing the homework / assignments

Hey, I'm a teacher lol, Also maybe the reason you are struggling with the Mathematics is your old math teacher was teaching you to skin a cat instead of teaching you mathematics?

lol, How about when there is three numbers in a line, and they say what's the fourth number, and I can see at least three patterns ion the first three but who knows which one they want the kid to write down.

I have kids, I don't want to be trying to teach other people's kids too. I'll leave that to the professionals. And good luck to you teachers, not an easy gig.

I'd accept any number that they can explain how it fits the pattern!

put ya blinker on..

As I said “ keep left unless overtaking “
Pensioners should only be allowed on the road between 11:00am - 1:00pm week days and totally off the road on weekends !
Especially Mazda 3 old farts ?

While we're on old farts, why do retirees choose to go to the shops on the weekend? Go when it's quiet during the week!!! And the top of the escalator isn't the place to stop and look around.

Nor is the bottom

Mate I reckon teaching along with nursing is the hardest career

But you would have to admit that that schools seem to forget that things have changed a lot since the 80/90's in every way

Told me daughter who was so stressed about doing Naplan to right her name at the top of the page and put her head on the top of the desk

And she is a A student in Math

@happy_tiger I agree completely about the changes in schools, some improvements, some have pushed us backwards.

Don't get me started on Naplan, there is little benefit to the tests for schools and virtually no benefit to parents. Students should never be made to stress about Naplan as the results are virtually meaningless.

@cochise the stupid thing is I believe its more-so the parents heaping pressure on their kids rather than the schools and teachers. Then the parents complain. Go figure.

@rustycage That is my experience as well, I've had kids in my class in tears before Naplan, all over a test that is meaningless!

the beep test at school......

that test is used to detemine your fitness levels... which is a load of bull..

some people are better at longer distances, not sprinting or vise versa.... its just awkward lol

I see your point ....but its so hard for kids choosing careers now ....things are changing literally overnight

How many kids do 4 years at Uni and come out with virtually no career options available in that choice

People don't teach kids to use their hands anymore. Some kids that come in looking for apprenticeships are flat out breathing let alone thinking.

I agree but how hard is it to get a apprenticeship ...half the time kids might get their 2nd or 3rd option if lucky

Most major employers with apprenticeships if you don't know someone or have a contact you won't get what you want and two years later you basically become unemployable

I see first hand what happens ...how many of my 1st choices work ethic wise and smarts wise get overlooked because another tosser who I'd shoot on site if they walked into my home /workplace to do electrical work knows someone in HR etc

Cyclists going the wrong way on 1 way roads is my current pet hate, it’s up there with people who stop when they get to the top of a packed escalator, and people walking while texting/gaming/something on a mobile phone.

Cyclists (the Lycra brigade) riding on the road, making drivers give way, when there is a perfectly good, and expensive, cycle path going alongside the road.
Cairns is full of them.

Cyclists in general. Their a law unto themselves when on the roads. They should be registered like everyone else who use the road with a visible plate somewhere on the bike.
