For the first time in forever I didn't watch the tigers game on TV, or via a live stream - and I've gone to great lengths in the past to make sure I can.

I had other things to deal with on Sunday afternoon, listened a bit on the radio, and then tuned in again at fulltime to get the score - Needless to say, I was not surprised.

I think I might actually go and do something fun on Friday night, tape the game on the IQ, and IF we happen to win, will watch the replay. Heaven forbid I'm sounding like a Fairweather supporter at the moment, but hey, now I know what it's like to support the Parramatta Eels.

even during 2001 - 2003 and as a Balmain supporter in 1992-1995 I don't remember feeling so… "Meh" about my own team.

2016 seems such a long way away though - and this season never seemed to really get started for our lads.

I can cop a team running last. What I won't cop is coming last all because the club is incompetent. The way they have handled the cap for yrs, and have had a boys club culture ingrained into them. Then the way Potter got rode out of town on a rail. In a lot of ways this club deserves what it's getting. Image wise, we're not far off where we were during the drug and Hoppa scandals. Joke of a club.

I don't feel meh about the team and will continue to watch the games with as positive a mainframe as i can muster. It's not the players fault and for the most part I believe they're putting the effort in each week (which is all I asked for in the pre season).
I am incredibly frustrated that previous administrations have left us this mess, but then I think of the poor buggers that have to deal with it directly, Taylor, Go & the Board.
One reason I'll stick with them is I don't want to see the teams performers getting disheartened by their situation and deciding to look for greener pastures. They're doing what is asked of them to the best of their ability so I'll continue to support their effort.

Here's hoping the team can get a few more wins on the board, before end of season, enough to finish 15th or better.
Not going to be all gloom and doom toward season 2016 just yet.
Wait until it comes around, you never know, something may benefit wests-tigers.

There's a lot of fear mongering going on in the place at the moment. How next year is going to be worse, possible relocation etc etc.
Would be good to review this thread in 12 months time. I actually think the future hasn't been this bright for years. We finally have competance at the board level, about to appoint what I hope to be a gun CEO and a young playing staff who will be better having a full season under thier belts. We've hit the bottom, steadied the ship and in 12-18 months will be in smoother waters. Now's not the time to jump ship.

Yeah but with the new board I really believe we are in situation to start moving forward. The reason the finishing line kept getting moved was the board kept making the same bad decisions to try and get a quick fix to the situation. The new board appears to making the hard decisions to fix the situation long term.

Yes, thats right. Its never popular to do something like this but is a necessary evil if we are to survive. Had this not come about, I don't see how the Wests Tigers could have stayed in the competition. The old regime all but put us out of business.

been this way all year unfortunately… think our last game last year (against sharks iirc) was one of the first that i could've watched but decided to do something i usually would've skipped to watch a game.

sometimes, you just know what's gonna happen and you want to save yourself the disappointment and do something else.
