Well maybe u should start trying to be fair. Your post here is exactly the type of post that has causedthis thread to be started in the first place. Certain posters need to take this thread on board and change a little, you are one of those but clearly it aint gonna happen.

The forum cant win.

This thread Imo believe is a result of the people running this forum of being a bit more liberal and relaxed with the rules compared to previous forums.

Before- people biched and moaned because the old forums were too heavily moderated.

Now - people are biching and moaning because they dont like others views.

As I mentioned before - its very simple - there are functions there such as the report function if you beleive someones crossed the line, or the friend or foe where you can make individuals posts that you dont agree with unviewable…..however that gives you nothing to bich about.

Its not about disagreements TT. I have many disagreements with you but we have always managed to keep it about the issue and not subjected each other to personal attacks. I have strong view and sometimes I am rather blunt with those views but I have very rarely got personal unless someone starts it. It seems now whenever I have any opinion, people get personal which means I retaliate. i am not interested in such negativity.

I am not even urging greater moderation, that is something that in odd 10 years that I have been posting on the variations of the site, that I have been against. It just seems that many people have got very bitter on this forum and to be honest what once made this forum very interesting (the differing personalities) is now its weakest point.

I actually have no problem with Ron (although he does get carried away at times).

I love the hypocrisy of the people who are telling people to harden up - if it wasnt for the rule against divulging private messages we could all have a laugh.

If you think that little speech absolves you than I cant help you. I've seen you "stick the boot in" quite a few times. Time to get off your soapbox, you're no savior of the coaching staff and players… :laughing: ...give us a break.

As I said, sure sometimes we can get pretty negative in our criticism of how the team is playing, but for the majority of members on here it comes through seeing the same mistakes made year after year after year. A lot of people on here, myself included, are paid up members and we get to quite a few games per year as a minimum. We may bag the effort of the side sometimes but we are always there next weekend paying our money and supporting the team.

So dont make yourself out to be on some crusade to save the players and coaches from the evils of the internet forum poster. They take the good with the bad ..why cant you?

This thread reminds me of being in primary school and having the weakling kids run up to the teacher to tell on the naughty kids down the back of the classroom.....yep it's still sad all these years later.

Something much like that. A polite thank you. I'm sorry for your inconvenience. We understand you're passionate but please moderate your tone, language, be constructive. Repetitive abuse of others, whether forum members or members of the club will not be tolerated.
