This is going to end well for us ...

Just thinking about all this crap after reading this article (http://www.news.com.au/national/gorden-tallis-can-be-too-honest-for-his-own-good-but-he-will-always-stick-up-for-his-friends/story-e6frfkp9-1227009118019) and it got me thinking. The only truth I can seem to decipher from this is that Mick Potter has been hung out to dry and that there are elements (whoever it is) within the organisation that have been undermining him. It being played out in the media seems like a rough go, but at the end of the day it's probably the one way we're going to find the truth about it and get rid of whoever has been causing the friction the entire time. No longer can they hide in the shadows, the NRL and the media will uncover the truth and we'll be a better organisation for it.

The only question is whether its from the playing group, coaching group, board, or a combination of the three. There could be pain.

I can't see it ending well at all Mac

I reckon Potter won't be retained despite all of our urgings otherwise

I have this sneaking suspicion that Robbie might look for another club at the end of 2015 , sometimes it is easier to just show and do what you love

Not be the centre of every piece of garbage that happens at your workplace

the funniest thing about that article is how they claim Tallis was just looking after his mate. How on earth is telling the whole universe that your mate "can't coach" looking after him ? I'm 10000% sure that potter would have preferred it if his 'mate' had just kept his big mouth shut. Who is going to sign potter as a coach now that they know players at his previous club thought that he "can't coach" ? The more Tallis talks the dumber he looks (which is really saying something), he just needs to recognise his made a massive mistake and get on with his life rather than justify his ongoing stupidity.

Unfortunately i don't think Potter will be retained either but i don't for one second think that it will hinder us on the field going forward. Potter deserves so much better but if at the end of the day we keep winning games i'll be happy no matter who is coach.

Well I'm in with Mac here. I think we have to find the source of the friction and get rid of it. If we do, we move forward if not, more of the same. Yes, "there could be pain" but no pain no gain.
There is no apparent reason to not retain Potter. He has clearly been undermined. As I said in one of my earliest posts, if they don't retain Potter next year, that to me is evidence that the mess within the club still exists.
In the mean time keep turning your Guernseys inside out! Go Tigers!

Iam not sure this will end well, but you are right, the spotlight is shinning brightly on the club at present and the spineless people who have been white anting and trying to bring the place down for their own gain will be exposed.

Just looking into the future, their is one thing that is 100% given, without Farah success in the next two years will be very hard, without Potter it probably will not make much difference. My point, Farah is so important to this club especially over the next two years we cant afford to let him be hounded out of the club on the back of all the crap that has gone on

Every sensible person in the game can see Mick Potter deserves another go round. The NRL are entitled to place 3 people on the newly restructured board. Potter is here until at least the end of the season. If the NRL can have the restructured board in place by then I am sure Potter will be staying and I'm sure that the right calls will be made once the NRL have executive decision making power.

I reckon the reason whoever tried to fast track his termination was to get it done before their ruling power was taken from them.

I'm positive we'll have a good conclusion from this.

Can we actually freeze the board out until the new board comes in ??

How could we get a vote of no confidence in them ??

Guessing it would have to come from Balmain and Wests Ashfield , and that isn't much hope

Or is it ??

Any legal eagles with any ideas how we could stop the current board from sacking Potter ??

It's high time that Wests Tigers members who are financial, be allowed to vote for who they want running the club.

At this stage every member is nothing more than a cash cow.

In this day and age, it's becoming less and less common that people who financially invest in a business/organisation, have no say in how that business/organisation functions.

Why are we still in the dark ages in this regard?

Our medical and training facilities are also rumoured to be below standard.

Why are we still in the dark ages in this regard?

It's high time the fans were allowed to have a say in who becomes board members of this club, and those same fans have the right to demand that their membership dollars go towards upgrading the facilities to ensure the players of our club have the best opportunity to make this club, and themselves, successful.

Instead we have an archaic board who are only interested in self-preservation and have next to no care for the WESTS TIGERS.

It's 2014, Not 1954!
