Yeah we got the win but if Gus said that he wasn’t far from the mark. We were up 34-6 with about 18 to go and rather than go on with it gave up a couple of simple tries and looked liked we’d gone home early.
Don’t get me wrong I love a win but would much prefer a team that just goes on with it

Tbf to Gus, while the result was never in doubt, the good teams don’t concede 18 points in the second half after keeping the opposition scoreless at half time.
There is only two real good defensive teams cause they are also the best attacking teams. Every other team leaks points when they don't have the ball. The Cowboys were up 22 -6 at halftime - final score 29 - 28. Their is rarely a competitive game these days where you don't have to score more than 20 to win.

Gus normally ships me to tears but I didn’t mind his commentary last night. He was quite fair and didn’t bang on about one small point over and over again.

Didn't one of the Fox commentators say the same thing around half time? I remember thinking they weren't wrong. I've watched this team long enough to know we can give up a lead like that in the blink of an eye.
