This should cheers ya up,check out our younglings!!

Thanks for that link. It gives hope for all Wests tigers fans. Kurtis Rowe is going to be a dark horse for first grade next year. A real goer at fullback.

Some great skill shown there in those tries, but for me I would like to see the package of how the Titans managed to score 32 points. A few of these fellas will be in the top grade within the next 2 seasons. Can any of them defend?

Attacking skills = A+
Defensive skills = Wouldnt imagine they are that good.

NYC as a whole is poor defensively. But even then, 32 points against a lowly placed side isn't great for us…

Moses passing game and short kicking looked great.
Brooks has a footy brain for sure, and the combo from what little we saw there looks better than any halves combo we've had in the post Lui era.
Brown ran some good lines there too.
Rowe appears to be a solid attacking fullback.

While we didn't see much defense there we can see some great attacking combinations and plays that are the level required to create points against even NRL level defense (the grubber in behind, the cut out pass to the winger, the quick backline spread - imagine Koro on the end of it!).

Of course it is only highlights but from what NYC i have seen same seems to be true.

2015 recruiting is gonna be crucial - right help recruited and uninterrupted development will see us with a very good side for 2016.

Hopefully we will have a good defensive coach in 2014 to help these kids.

yeah it was a good game, I turned to a mate of mine when it was 32-12 with 15 or so minutes to go, and said to him "just watch, there's going to be a lot of points scored here".

heh he had never paid too much attention to NYC games before.

Don't want to rain on the parade, but its easy to look like an attacking weapon when you come up against shocking defence which is typical of NYC.

Would like to see the boys do this in the NSW cup at least, before I get too exited about our future stars.

Maybe so but some of those passes and kicks would be good in any grade.

you are correct in what you say BUT you can only play whats in front of you

Its good to see the young fellas doing many of the basics right Good vision ,backing up ,heaps of enthusiasm

Lets hope many of their traits rub off on the senior players in 2014

Moses I think will be ok size wise ,he will put on a stack of size when he joins the full time squad

Ok his defence will struggle , but our club has been used to having a 6 with defensive deficiencies for the last 11 seasons and Moses will definitely improve in that department

Big step up from third grade to NRL. Most of these guys haven't even played second grade and are in their last year of NYC.

Local juniors Brooks, Lovett, Moses and Brown are the ones earmarked for a step up next year.

I am sure if first graders Sironen Tedesco and Nofoaluma who are all still eligible for under 20's dropped down a couple of grades to NYC they would look pretty good as well.

I guess the other thing to consider is that, despite the talent shown in that video, the U20s are running 6th, 9 points behind the Raiders. If we have talent, a lot of other clubs have talent too.
