sorry guys but i just cant see us finishing in front of anyone
when you take into account
- new coach with a roster he inherited and had no input towards
- injury after injury , we cant say if any of these were avoidable so nobodys fault
- farah and woods will be picked for origin
- benji and lawrence in the worst form of there careers imo
- we cant win the close games and when you are struggling like we are you need to be able to find a way to win the close ones
these are just a few of the obvious issues and i think all the crap going on in the boardroom is rotting the foundation of this club
i will stil support them as much as ever but i am preparing for the worst
a few people on here will point the finger at potter but im prepared to wait another 12 months before judging him
we need some bloody luck to go our way people 😢

Don't close up shop just yet, were only 7 rounds in. We just need to string acouple of wins together, a couple of wins with good margins would help our for and against. It not all doom and gloom, but yes you are right, it not looking too good and where those wins will come from, I'm not sure considering the Bulldogs just had a good win to get them back on track. We have pleanty of talent at the club, (alot on the bench mind you), but as long as they don't just give up on the season, I will be watching all there games.

Yeah i'm not so sure we're spoon material. However the next month looks very tough. Injuries, Origin and our opposition are going to be very challenging to say the least. Personally think it may get worse before it gets better. Touch wood the injuries will stop but we're missing a hell of a lot of talent and morale isn't exactly near it's peak.

am i missing something here or are the eels and panthers in another comp. i have a really good feel about the young crop of players at the tigers. a couple of experienced heads on the field with them will see them improve immensely. cmon tiges :sign:

Wait till rd 13 before making these sort of predictions…. Admit it's not looking good and that's due to injuries ... Some consistency in the team will lead to some wins....

I think some people need to relax a bit. We have been competitive in every match we've played. Young players are getting their opportunities and showing some good signs. Marshall and Koroibete will be coming back from injury shortly and that will bring confidence to the side.

I thought they had improved a lot against Melbourne.
Bulldogs seem to have improved a l bit too and some key players gaining confidence
That said I put us in the same boat somewhat, its just these damn injuries screwing us

Since Potter has started coaching here the level of resolve and determination has steadily improved to a level many of us would be wanting (can still improve). Injuries have ravaged the team and i cant recollect a year in which it has been so high and i go back to the mid 60s.
I dont believe we will get the spoon probably around about 10th 11th but the blooding of young players this year will be to our advantage in the next few years.A case of short term pain for long term gain.I can only hope all our players get speedy and full recoveries

Not the spoon. we'll come good against the bottom 8 once a few key players start returning. Only a thrid into the season. Plenty of time to climb the ladder a spot or two.

You'd think that Marshall and Farah will click a few times this season ,especially once young Sirro finds his feet

We won't get the spoon , but we won't be far from it either

If we could somehow scrap into the Top 10 I would class this as a successful season but am expecting somewhere between 13th-15th

I don't think we will get the spoon, but I am ready to concede that we won't make the eight. When Farah and possibly Woods are out on State of Origin duty we will struggle again. As long as the boys have a dig, that's all I'm after this year now.

In my opinion i doubt it, but even if we do they put in week in and week out now, apart from round 1 they've been competative, with all the injuries and having to promote young players the squad's going to be in really great shat in 12 - 24 month's from now, even now we can all see a much more galvenised squad, they dont seem to have that soft mind set anymore, Personally i think the find of the year has been Potter, working with a roster he inherited, that's been decimated with injury to still get the boys up to be competative week in and week out in an amazing feet. The question we need to ask is, do we take the spoon on the chin in order to build a better future or do we take the spoon then dump the coach cause all we are worried about is today. If we do get the spoon it would'nt fase me as long as there's a purpose behind it, i'll take 1 spoon for 10 - 15 years of sucess, that's why im a firm believer the next contract extention has to be Potters from what iv seen and im the first to admit im no expert, but Potter knows league.

we wont come last, we are showing enough ticker we will beat most of the bad teams, i still think we will finish mid table.
4 of our 5 losses are 2 strong sides that seem to be doing fairly well. The other we lost by a point.

We are going to have plenty of fresh players at the back end of the season when some other teams might hit the wall. Post SOO I think we might cause some damage as our long term injuries start to come back along with all the young kids getting more and more experience in the big time
