...that it IS a matter of cattle. My second team is Canberra and the contrast in player quality across the pitch is very real. It's not so much a matter of having superstars (yes they have papali and wighton but still), it's that Canberra have no plodders or duds, none. Every player can play very well and can be a threat. II don't think we should be targeting superstars I would much prefer we just get good players in the numerous lackluster positions we have. Also we need to be smart about recruitment. Ricky pulls players from seemingly out of nowhere constantly.

I’d say the first thing that the Raiders do right is play players in their natural position and play their cover players in positions that they can cover. And don’t over pay them...
