Big crowd? Payton's 250th game, will the Tigers fire? Whos going? and more…

Thoughts?
I think this is in the wrong section.
I think we can win though it will be a good test for our forwards. Hopefully Dugan still out

also look out for vidot and ferguson both guns, hopefully dugan is out because his replacement (milne?) is a dud

canberra were woeful last night They had no forward dominance and Orford was atricious at best This is game win can win They were very bad under high ball (Actually both teams were mental note against broncos )

I'm just hoping it's 3rd time lucky as far as putting a good performance in is concerned.

Even if Dugan is back he won't be 100% so I'm not too worried about him, Ferguson seems like the type of player who will cause us problems though, and their pack is monsterous, but if they pick Miller we will be fine, that bloke is good for 2 or 3 errors and 10 missed tackles .

I think @ full strength, they're such a strong team.
Talent all over the park.

HOWEVER, Matt Orford is TERRIBLE.
And I think he beats Lui easily as ugliest halfback in the game.
He's a big fat fail.

This is a game (with a home advantage), that I we should win. Everybody was talking the Raiders up after their showing against the Sharks last week, but the Sharks were extremely poor and did anybody see how soft the two tries the Raiders conceded in that game? Forgot to add their showing on Friday.

Should win comfortably if Dugan is out..if not then defence needs to be up at their face all day. Dugan is a gun and one of the most feared player for mine.

Time for forwards to step up. They need to make sure they dont get intimidated by their humungous forwards pack. We have one of the best backlines in the comp (personally THE BEST), but they need the forwards to stop dropping the ball and get more metres so that Benji and co can spread it out wide when needed. Eg. Lawrence's 2nd try last night.

We just have to be patient and disciplined. The Raiders for all their big pack and fast backs are not and are young so if we can hold them out in the first 20 like the Semi they will crumble.

In my opinion that is

On what I saw last night we will have to lift the bar if we are to win. Okay the raiders were poor on Friday night but they will be flogged all week and come out firing. On paper they are way in front of the Warriors and a trip to Campbelltown is just a little stroll down the expreesway, we should have dragged them across town to LORDS and got them way out of their comfort zone

Orford was awful & stunted their attack!

Given he couldn't train with them in the off-season - I still think they need alot of work on their shape with Orford at 7 before they reach their on-paper potential!!

We have a dominant record against them & I see no reason why it cannot continue!

Also, this will be Canberra's first away game of the year. They had a nice, soft start to the season with two home games, but now that they're 'on the road' for the first time this year I think they'll be vulnerable.

I think Canberra had better success in their away matches last season, so lets hope we can win this one

You can only pick your best 17 players available and hope they are up to the task. Really when you think of it the Raiders backs are way in front of what the Warriors had and their forwards are equal or better. The warriors ball control and fifth tackle attacking options were as poor as I have seen in a long time, we will not get that luxury against the Raiders.

Without being negative I really think we may get a touch up, you always have a chance but I think our chances are slim . At full strength it would be a different matter
