I hope we have a home game on a sunday for the first game of the season and I hope we get a pretty easy first four rounds which will most likely not happen.

Much better than a 2nd ad riddled second Friday game, now just shaft Monday Night Footy for Sunday night and you have a better schedule all round (1xThurs, 1xFri, 3xSat, 2xSun arvo 1xSun night)

Agreed, I have no idea why the people who complain about it watch it consistently. If you stop and think about it for 5 seconds you realise how idiotic you sound.
As for the show itself, if you take it for what it is (light humor with a footy theme) it can be enjoyable. If you expect world class comedy or in depth football analysis you are going to be disappointed.

Probably pinched the idea from the NFL after seeing how successful it's been over there, I really enjoyed having the season start on a Thursday night this year. But yeah i agree Ink, great for watching it at home with having to go to work the next day & it will be similar in the way how crowds are affected when they are played on a Monday night.

Gonna be even more teams with unfair turnarounds, now that the games will be played over five days. Ridiculous. Although it's only for the first four weeks, so that's not so bad.
