Thurston an Immortal? ?

I think it's good they leave it to the playing career… it gets too messy if you start taking into account off field contributions.

Mal's best off field contribution was fathering an illegitimate child on a Kangaroo tour.

You can't factor in off-field issues because then we'd only be factoring in things we see and hear about.

Who's to say that Mal wasn't the biggest coke head in his playing days or Norm Provan wasn't an abusive husband ?

Just because we don't hear about it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

For every player who gets caught with recreational drugs, there are at least 20 that don't get caught.

Immortal status MUST be dependent on what the judges know and can see at all times - on field contribution.

Because he's the only footballer ever whose ever fathered an illegitimate child. Hang the man.

It is …the rules were changed remember to allow that pill popping alcoholic, who rarely made himself available for Australia to be inducted.

If its his best contribution to RL, the kid must be a bloody good player. Should we sign him?

Milky, get your pen ready to add this kid!
