Gee we're getting some leg ups with our run home. On top of a winnable game against Saints and Norman suspended for Parra, it now it looks like we're play the Cowboys minus Thurston

The Cowboys have taken no risks with Johnathan Thurston's health after he went off with a suspected hamstring problem in last night's game against the Bulldogs.

Triple M and the Australian's Brent Read said the Cowboys will have to play without their star half for a few weeks yet.

"JT is out for three weeks potentially with that hamstring tear," Ready told Triple M NRL Rush Hour.

"Especially with the older guys - they're the first sort of injury that starts the downfall," Triple M's Ryan Girdler said.
