Hi guys.

I have been trying to buy this book by Ray Chesterton for some time now. Obviously being in melbourne makes things quite complicated.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I may find it online or in a shop etc in Sydney (I will be in Sydney in a few months time).

Any help would be awesome.

I have a friend who works with Dymocks. Give me a few days and I will see what I can find
 
Got my copy from the Balmain leagues club so maybe if you called Five Dock or something? Its a great book and theres even an old photo of my grandad at Birchgrove at one of the old players/familys picnics around 1915-20

I have leather bound copy numbered 231 0f 250\. The book was purchased from Balmain Leagues Club number of years ago.

Signed by Frank Hyde, Fred Debelin,Kevin Humphreys,Leo Nosworthy,Keith Barnes,Peter Provan,Artie Beetson,Wayne Pearce,Garry Jack,Steve Roach,Ben Elias and Paul Sironen.Tom Bourke was also listed but was to ill to sign.

Hardly seen daylight so is in great nick.

Mind you won't be cheap but if interested make an offer. I'd probably sell at the right price.
 
I bought mine off ebay from a bloke that won it in a raffle or at a trivia night, I remember seeing the book for sale on the Balmain Tigers website, it's a great read so good luck.

shit mate, I don't think I would feel good buying something like that from a Tigers supporter, further more, I don't think i'd have the cash because i'd value it very excessively highly.
 
Cannot find it anywhere new mate. They will keep looking for me though.

There is a few second hand copies online but I don't know the condition

I have a lot of other Tigers gear and the book is one that is not top of the list. I have another copy that son had signed by numerous ex players and it sees the light of day more than the leather bound one.I'm actually looking to start offloading some of my memorabilia collection so this may get me motivated!!!!

As I said previously if your interested, or anyone else for that matter, make an offer on what you can afford, just pm me. I'm not looking to rip anyone off and will consider all offers. You might be surprised at what I'd take for it.

Good luck with your hunt if your not interested it is a good book.
