I haven't seen any of Lowe so I can't really comment, but people seem to have a big wrap on him.

I also thought the headline was referring to Michael Morgan and was slightly disappointed to see it was about Ryan. He's a decent centre, but seems to have a lots of errors in him. He's also a bit of a ball hog.
I was surprised to see he's played 69 NRL games… I didn't realise he'd played that many

Disagree on Lowe, very good player for mine. Reminds me a lot of Aiden Guerra.

Cooper is JT's minder , Lowe probably isn't as quick as Guerra but has a better motor

Exactly! Why spend the money we need to keep Simona on signing 2 other players to replace him? It's a travesty if we can't afford to keep Simona because we are 'stuck' honouring Lawrence's big fat contract. Injury has stalled your career for sure, but do the right thing Chris and fall on your sword so WT can keep _all_ of our good young players.

Just one little problem with that scenario. He has a contract with the club for a certain time. Why should he "Fall on his sword ,"for anyone.
A players career isn't forever , for anyone .
He signed a contract to play for WT's, and has fulfilled his part of it . He was injured while fulfilling that contract, and has a legal and moral right to that contract being paid, unless the club and him agree on a payout.
He is " doing the right thing" in doing his best for the club, as he always has.
If the club doesn't want him , then pay out his contract.
Yes, he's not playing at the same level , but with the injury that he had, that would be expected.

No worries, GCT, all good and I see your point. However, if I was struggling to perform at the top level because of an injury that wasn't ever going to get any better and I knew I was hampering the team because of it, I think I would have to consider other options for their sake, but that's just me, everyone is different.

Ftr, because of the physical nature of my work, I would most likely have to move aside if long term injury prevented me from performing my duties to a satisfactory standard, but there would most likely be alternative office positions available within the same organisation, I suppose - not that I would probably want them :laughing:

Lowe would be a great buy. Young, strong and skillful. I'm pretty surprised no-one has snapped him up already.

Morgan replacing Simona? That makes me want to vomit.

I hope that it is Morgan replacing Lawrence that would be much better option.

No but as with most players eg Simona…. if the existing Club comes up with a reasonable offer the player more often than not stay with that Club...

I can't see how Lowe staying at the Cowboys means WT only have a megre amount available...
