TIGERS INJURY CRISIS DEEPENS

WESTS Tigers' injury crisis has reached full-blown proportions, with strike weapon Benji Marshall expected to miss Sunday's crucial clash against South Sydney because of a foot injury.

Marshall's absence leaves the Tigers without their first-choice halves combination after rookie pivot Curtis Sironen was ruled out for the season with a dislocated shoulder.

Tim Moltzen (hamstring), Chris Lawrence (ankle), Ben Murdoch-Masila (ankle) and Matt Groat (thumb) were also victims of Monday's nightmare trip to Townsville.

They've all joined Lote Tuqiri (arm) and Keith Galloway (shoulder) in an extraordinary injury ward that's threatening to destroy the club's finals chances.

Skipper Robbie Farah is tipped to move to the scrumbase in Marshall's absence, with Masada Iosefa filling-in at hooker.

Utility Tom Humble is a certainty to be promoted from NSW Cup to cover both halves and hooker, but the three-quarter line remains a mystery with Matt Utai, Joel Reddy and Blake Ayshford the only fit top-line backs.

It's beginning to shape as a game where we expect to lose and be stoked with a tight loss. I hate that. Fair to say it will be our worst preparation for a game all year too. Though i guess it's hard to judge too definitively when we don't know the make up of the team yet. It could be anything this game.

tigers will not give up and all you supporters should not give up until it is official, we can win and make the finals , please so what if we have injuries , yes it makes it tuff but so be it , who knows we may roll souths big time , a win will do me , but get behind your team

Guys i went on the west tigers website and they showed photos of them training and noticed marika koribete was in them so was John grant and a few others and they were training with robbie and all the first grade players
