It was a night of excitement and high anticipation of a wonderful year ahead when Wests Tigers launched their 2011 season in spectacular style on Tuesday night.
>
Wests Tigers players and officials were joined on the Bella Vista Boat for a four hour night cruise around Sydney Harbour in what was one of the finest club season launches ever held.
>
A highlight of the evening was the spectacular laser show whereby Wests Tigers players walked through an image of themselves to be greeted by their player sponsor.
>
Passionate Wests Tigers supporter Anthony Field – the blue Wiggle from The Wiggles – even got down on one knee in worshipping Captain Robbie Farah as he greeted him on stage.
>
Another highlight was the sensational Wests Tigers video featuring some of the exciting moments of the team’s 2010 season to the sound of the new NRL anthem, ‘This Is Our House’.
>
A selection of Wests Tigers players and Head Coach Tim Sheens were interviewed about the team’s prospects and hopes for the season by MC for the evening, Fox Sports Commentator Warren Smith.

Yeah well I was there and you try standing for 4 hours! There was approx 350 people with seating for about 100 and I'm being generous. It was a good night but they really need to look at the venue for next year, I was disappointed considering the money Ive invested. It could have been so much better really !!!!!!!!

A launch in the South West would have been nicer than your run of the mill harbour cruise on a crowded boat with no seats. The NRL got it right doing it in our area at Casula it's a pity we couldn't do the same.

I too was on the cruise. I was told the boat is owned by Benny Elias's brother, so that may explain it.

Bryce is a nutcase. He didn't have a jacket on all night and was throwing food to the seagulls so there was a flock hovering above the crowd on the top deck.

The boys all seem really relaxed and there is a good vibe amongst them. I am a nobody and was there as a guest of a sponsor but each player was happy to have a chat and there were no ego's. They are just a normal bunch of blokes having a great time.
