Tigers Matts Trial Results

This evening Balmain's Matts were victorius over Souths in a trial at Erskinville Oval soring 6 tries to 4\. Overall it was a good performance from the Tigers with the majority of the better players playing only 15 minutes of the 5 x 15 minutes played.

All is looking good as far as the balance of the team goes with some of the newer players performing well. Souths also looked pretty good and I would expect that both teams will have very competitive teams once they get down to their top squads.

Next trial for the Tigers is against Norths at Frank Street Holy Cross College on the 16th at 5pm.

Balmain defeated Norths in their second trial, it was a bit difficult keeping score but I came up with 13 tries to 1.
The next trial is against the Bulldogs and this game will give us a good indication on how we are shaping up. So far so good with some solid performances all over the park in both attack and defence in the 2 trials so far. The Bears manged to cross for their only try when they had 14 players on the field and I wasn't including the referee in the count!!
