A good coach is a good coach whether it is NRL ,ESL , QRL or NSW Cup If they get results they must be doing something right

Coaching is being able to get the team in the right frame of mind , giving them believe and confidence they can achieve and having faith in the coach that they are pointing you in the right direction no matter what the instructions

If you can do all of that and have a reasonable playing roster and don't get crushed by injuries you will do OK

How about the CCDJRL ?
Only there's a bloke ( also named Nathan) who managed to get the Gosford Kariong Storm under 11(2)s into the semi finals this year and earnt the team elevation into division 1 for next season … A terrific coaching performance given the smallness of the Narara based club ... He's a lovely bloke and would jump at the chance to oversee operations at Concord ... You could probably get him on an incentive based deal revolving around petrol money and a handful of signed jerseys etc ...

Worth a thought.

Possibly ,but he will probably need Harry T's backing

You're probably going a touch overboard , but if he had a good technical coach who could give him good game plans and he was able to fit the criteria that I listed he could do it

His massive issue to overcome in that case would be gaining the respect and trust of the players If you are having a shot at the QRL Wayne Bennett comes from the QRL and has in some way shaped other coaches like Mal Meninga,Craig Bellamy, Griffin, Ricky Stuart, David Furner, Laurie Daley and many other assistant coaches currently in the NRL

Well happy, i don't think he lives in a Meriton apartment but for what it's worth, he's got Snoddy's backing and i know Harry T takes my advice very very seriously.

As a coach, he (young Nathan from Gosford-Kariong) is technically spot on … He had the lads going forward before unleashing the back line etc ... Decoy runners, inside balls against a tiring defence, good discipline ...

And a great rapport with the players ... Those free Maccas vouchers seem to keep everyone happy

Matty Parish has good bloodlines … His dad Don took the young Magpies to the 1974 preliminary final in a wonderful run from mid table halfway through the year ... Arrgghh .... Great memories ... The 23-20 win over Manly an absolute highlight.

... Sorry I went off on a bit of a sentimental tangent, what was the question again ?

It was a great day..you were there Snodgrass..right?

I don't know Snod , helping them break their no Big Macs and Lamb Burgers during the season deal could be a recipe for disaster Having hypo out of control kids on end of season trips as well 😱pen_mouth:

I was… sitting in the Brewongle Stand with my dad ... And my namesake Warren was most probably out in the middle chopping Eagles off at the knees ... It was a great day for Snodgrass' everywhere

I was in the top of the MA Noble Stand..I dont know how we ended up there. It was the only time I have ever been there..but as you can see, its my standout game.
