He was impossible to compete for given the huge bucks Wigan threw at him in mid-2005!

It is hard to estimate how much bigger and better things Patty went on to given it has all been in the less competitive ESL.

If his Man of Steel award this year is the benchmark - then same can be said for Hodgo who won the award last year despite struggling with us in his final 12 months in the NRL!

While he has gone on to win a Premiership with Wigan this year - and being crowned the top point-scorer in the league - most of his time in the UK has been in a struggling Wigan team!

I think he was an Ok-ish player though.

He didn't go on to bigger and better things though. He hasn't won a premiership at the Titans.
