Is Marika Koroibete signed?? Winger extraordinaire (sic)
He should be on the list of Toyota Cup players signed for 2012

I believe he is under contract for at least next year. I think the coaching staff have very high hopes for him but don't want to put pressure on him by putting his name in the media spotlight. For mine he could be a very good NRL winger. A few good judges of playing talent I know thing he will be in the NRL side by mid next year.

He is signed to 2013.

I don't like the way Jacob Miller wasn't mentioned in either of the "young players resigned" groups.

Me too.
Whats his contract status?

In the article humpty was referring to players that have been retained
and all had been made offers from elsewhere.

Does this apply to Miller too?

Dont wanna jump to conclusions but if he's in the same boat as all the other players mentioned it'd surely throw up a few ???'s
Could also be a simple oversight.

I thought it was about in house juniors that have been offered deals elsewhere and were retained.

Only skimmed the article though so am probably off the mark

The article is about the Fonz being slow on the uptake and only just realising our pack has been getting outmuscled and outwrestled for the last 5 years so to solve this problem he has sold tbe 2nd and 3rd best props in our club.

Fool.

Perhaps Bug the fact that they were the second and third props at the club was a big part of the problem we have had?

Good to hear some of those kids are under lock & key. A future back three of Tedesco, Koroibete & Nufoaluma is very exciting.

he wants bigger forwards yet andrew is so much bigger than blair hell even gibbs is
theres no clean out at the tigers he just wanted to get a over-rated Blair into the tigers to probley keep benji happy

That's a bit harsh I think x-pac. Surely you know it's not just about size. Gibbs is no bigger than Blair, but doesn't use what size he's got anyway! He's never made many metres, doesn't break tackles, doesn't off load and tackles well, but low. Not great attributes for a prop forward.

gibbs to blair … chalk and cheese ! gibbs seems to be a week to week proposition with his leg / knee problems. i saw enough of blair's toughness and mobility against the storm to know he will be a huge plus for the weststigers.

Im not concerned about the signings, in truth they are good ones, what gets me is while he is getting 'all his ducks in a row' we have just about written off 2011 which was a year we should have challenged. I know its not all over red rover but better managment of these issues would not have affected the stability of the squad. Humphries is a wood duck. Makes Noycey look like a genius.

Out off all the players we re loosing Moltz is the only disappointment. Why.? One word. "Lui" he isn't cutting it.
Gibbs is good. But that is it. He is also a liability in game time we are and will get out of him in years to come.
Fifita, becoming predictable. Woods I think will have more to offer.

Take away his fend, and whats left in comparison tO woods for eg. Fends become predictable and they will pick up on it.

I'm still confused….mainly with the signings of Reddy and Bell and chasing Ryan Cross - unless they are really cheap, being used as backups or unless he is planning to move Ayshford. We must be losing Brown & Daniella as well, not sure I would have kept Ryan.

Massive holes at full-back and right wing and a general lack of pace - unless he plans to blood some of the under 20's.

I'm not worried about the right wing - Ryan can fill in there just fine.

You are correct though regarding the lack of pace. We will have a slow 3/4 line and we desperately need a quality fullback with pace. How good would Matt Bowen be ?

I still think Lawrence to fullback is the best option. Ayshford and Reddy can play centre or move Tuqiri in one position. I know our centres/wingers in this scenario will not be lightning quick players but if they defend well we have speed with Marshall and Lawrence in critical positions. Our 3/4's will be able to finish the plays.
