I expected Austin, but Rowe was a surprise.
Am happy with the straight swaps for people playing in those positions.
Quite excited to see how they go on Saturday.

That is a really young side. Thurston and their front row will give them a good test, but we should hold our own.

I wonder why Lulia is there?

To come in for Rowe if it is decided he is not up to it and Simona goes back?

To come in for Simona if he is not fit?

To come onto the bench if Ava is not fit to give us cover for the backs/Simona/Rowe??

All of the above???

I love bringing the boys from nsw cup they now know if they play well every week they are a chance to be called up great to see thanks coach

Austin was a given. Pretty surprised by Rowe's selection. But congrats to the both of them and best of luck for Saturday.

This could be a danger game for us. Cowboys can be hot and cold but you can never discount the world's best half.

Another good challenge for our forward pack here, coming up against the Australian front row. Hope to see them rip and tear again.

Big thumbs up.
It does make a lot of sense and shows how strange some selections were in the past.
U need to rely on the younger blokes to step up and take a chance on someone to shine.

No complaints from me , will be interesting to see how Austin goes.
Nice to see Potter does not mess with the team to much like Sheens did.

Pleased for Austin but Rowe is a surprise. Solid side though and I think Austin will certainly take some pressure of Brooks as he's much more of a runner with the ball than Anasta and should help bring our outside backs into the game a bit more.

Should be a great battle in the forwards.

The big question is, will it be a rocks or diamond week. This team will be all over the shop this year, I just hope for young Rowe and Austen it will be a diamond week, hate to see them scapegoated for a poor team effort.

Would not surprise to see at late change at no1, but I think Potter knows Teddy is out for at least a month so why not groom young Rowe

Wow! A coach who replaces an injured fullback with another actual fullback and a suspended five eighth with another actual five eighth! How delightful :stuck_out_tongue:
