Tigers to call ANZ Stadium home in 2014

ANZ with a small crowd (and we will have many of those next year) is awful. A waste of such a big venue, no atmosphere, like a party no one goes to

Haha ! Thanks tigergirlz I needed a laugh !
Like a party no one goes to !!!!!
That analogy just about sums it up doesn't it !!

I was at the function last night. Made the post on Twitter

Mayer said the offer from ANZ was "outstanding". Said it ticked many boxes, including the geographic location being in the west. The fan poll on the website 50/50, as was the reception from people at the event last night. But… When we're trying to rebuild the club, and Mayer also used the term "rebuilding", you need money, and ANZ will let us do that.

It will have a large flow on effect. The facilities at Concord are supremely sub-par and as Mayer said, it's hard to attract marquee players when our facilities are like that.

ANZ will also let us keep 4 and 4 at the traditional grounds, and Mayer said the club will increase its focus on the South-West region.

And with that there goes any chance of increasing memberships 8 games at crap grounds that cannot support greater numbers of members and COSTS the club to play there ….Mr Mayer has no idea get a pair mate !
