Shrek runs over Gibbs , Mason starts his spray. Fans fighting in the stands , I have never liked the bulldogs or any of their players and this guy is a serial pest , I say NO. We can start giving our juniors some experience for next season , one game at a time. I am with Tommy on this one.
You obviously didn't live anywhere near Lidcombe when Tommy was playing!
Calling Mason nothing but trouble when you consider the stuff he and others in his team got up to on the grog is really stretching it.
Everyone would duck for cover whenever those guys walked into a pub or club
You, like most people, tend to repeat the stories heard third hand in and around the pubs in Lidcombe.
If you had been there, and knew the players you would realize there was a level of self respect within the club and the player group.
There was a time to have fun and a time to play footy. This was an era when most if not all of the players had full time jobs.
Yes they enjoyed themselves around the local area. Now its seems local support and commitment depends on where your next contract is coming from. Oh, and the obligation to be constantly seen in the Eastern Suburbs. If you can name one player from that era that was considered a thug off the field you simply did not know them.
Well done for having common sense Tigers.
We don't need a serial pest who still refuses to admit he is in the wrong.
Of all the clubs in the NRL, when you watch a tigers game you know it will be clean, quick and entertaining. You know you won't get constant bending of the rules or a constant questioning of the referees decisions.
It why we are criticized as often as we are. We may not win all the games. We may not be the best, but when we play on the edge of our ability we are unbearable.
Move on Willie. Good luck.
