At one point they were doing a drill in groups which involved stop start running clockwise through 4 different stops.... Leilua was being lapped by the group behind. By far slowest/most unfit.

While the coach is away, the slobs will play...
He's gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Yeah he was.

After training today Russell had his foot in a bucket of ice but he told me he is confident he will be ready to play by the start of the year. He was up beat and in good spirits.

I was impressed with how the senior players especially Benji and Moses Mbye kept driving the high standards that the coaching staff were demanding by leading the way and encouraging the players that were struggling.

I went on the Tuesday and the Friday and they were both high intensity sessions.

Kevin Walters was there watching Billy train on on the Friday.

All the players and coaches were great afterwards with my 6 year old son. They all asked him questions about his holidays and footy. Benji gave him the hat he had been training in which is something he will always remember.
