Hardest job in the league and people are actually wanting to blame him for our issues. No coach is saving us besides Bellamy and even he would take a few years

Well we’re playing worse than last year, and it’s more his team than last year. He’s not blameless in this.

We’ve also played our best footy in years with him as coach, and really we are in the exact same spot as last year. The signings he’s made have improved our team this year, it’s the rest of the rubbish that’s killing us

LOL, you're inferring a bit of pace is the cure to all our ills. JAC and Saab won't do jack when all we do is throw it wide. Everytime we go wide there's no space for the wingers.

Make space for what?

Can't make space at all. Having an extra yard or two of pace doesn't mean anything if they've numbered up.

Confidence. Good defence builds team confidence Then there is the confidence to go wide in the belief you have players who have the zip to penetrate.

I just wish they could actually make a tackle stick. Their defence is woeful... how many times did players fall off tackles whereas the roosters won’t let go to... so frustrating! My young blokes under 9’s have better technique than this mob...

It’s not Maguire - be fair, but Maguire does have to come out and be honest with these players - tell them to apply for the Job Seeker Allowance! The Cowboys have told Esan Masters to go today, we need the same honesty.
I’m thinking that Talau is way overrated - he ran like a camel when in the clear then has missed every tackle since - shrink wrap Talau at halftime, put him on a pallet, organise a truck, get Bellamy on the blower - tell him to confirm receipt then send JAC back in the same truck !!!!

When a player has played on too long, it’s their defense that deteriorates, this is clearly happening to Benji, and it’s been getting worse as the season has gone on... it’s disappointing to watch, and sadly this should be his last game.
