Tigers vs Broncos?

This game feels very much like our last Week 2 Finals game

1 team is coming off a loss from 3rd, and has a heap of injuries. Their 5/8th, their star player, is in doubt of even taking the field.

The other team is the fairytale side of the year, won a heap of games in the back end of the season to make the finals. Are a team of essential no-names, with a play maker and a 20 year old X factor who is a freak. This team has brilliant attack, but has a big defensive flaw which can be exploited.

Am I wrong here? I feel, just a gut feeling, that the result may go the same way…

Booooooooooooo….....

Lets hope the Wests Tigers players belive they can get the job done....

Raiders are no where as good as what the experts think IMO...they are vunarable and Wests Tigers have the wood on them....

PUMPED...

Nah you are exactly right. Brisbane were up against it that day. They were all bruised and battered. They stuck it to us hard and should not of trailed 10-0 (or somthing like that) at halftime. But the longer the match went there more they faded.

That day was like a party for us. (40k or so Tigers fans, no broncos fans). It will be similar to this week for Canberra. This is there best chance at doing somthing in the NRL since the late 90s. a home final in canberra.

I wonder what odds the bookies were offering on Canberra mid-way through the season.

I can see the parallels. the difference i see though is in the attitude. the one thing Sheens was able to do in '05 was to calm expectation, he never let the team or fans get ahead of themselves. it was week by week. I don't get that same sense from Canberra, expectation is high and they might be looking too far ahead.
