Meanwhile Roosters are playing halves in the centre all year and calling up Brad Abbey for a start.

I'm no Roosters fan but this is a clear push for the fairy tale ending for Penrith, gifted by the NRL.

I just hope regular finals heavy weights Melb storm can put them to tears again.

Set your expectations low. It's not worth the disappointment. We have two of our best players out and a rookie starting half.

Yep, I reckon those three, Melbourne, Penrith and Manly are the ones who have a genuine chance of winning the comp. After this round with injuries and suspensions the rest are done for this year IMO.

I have no expectation other than I want them to play with a little bit of pride. That’s it. If they try their guts out but lose by 50 I won’t be disappointed
