Tigers won't rush whiz-kid Tedesco

If you good enough your old enough.

Welcome to the NRL James Tedesco. Please take your position at full back.

What a talent and could be a try scoring wiz.

Can't beleive we actually scored off a bomb.

Let's put more bombs up at let Tedesco chase.

Maybe it'd be a good opportunity to partner him with moltz and practice attacking kicks. Moltz doesn't appear to be able to kick the skin off a custard inside the 80 minutes but seems to go ok in the warm ups?

I think shifty sheens should look at how well tedasco has played in trial games and give the kid a go game I'm sure if sheens gave tedasco game time early in year he would earn the right to wear the number 1 for tigers and ware it for many premierships to come . I'm tipping him for rookie of the year if given chance as his got the game

Does anyone seriously believe Sheens does not know who he will pick at fullback in round one, which is now less than two weeks away?

Please…

With Sheens?

Probably name him on the bench then pull a swifty before kickoff and start him. I reckon Tedesco would have been told by now if he is starting in round 1, now its about minimising hype and letting him stay calm for the next few weeks.

I have no doubt he has the ability and have been a very vocal supporter of his for a long while.
My only worry is asking an 18 yo to play NRL week on week might be a big ask on his body. He looks like he has a decent frame and so forth, but he is still a kid, Im sure they'll manage that through the season.
Lachlan Coote is a good example, a very dominate junior age player, much like tedessco, he has struggled with injuries and I reckon being asked to do to much to early is half the reason.

19 as of last month. Still pretty young, but plenty of current NRL stars debuted and were regular starters at the same age or even earlier.

totally agree

i think he will start and keep his spot. If he starts to find it a bit tuff then sheens will dop him back to 20s and give him a rest , but i think as long as he keeps performng he will stay in FG

The kid is lightning fast!!! Look out if he gets in to open space
