Tim Grant - Commits till 2018..

But I will say, it’s pretty embarrassing halfway into the first year of a 4 year contract and your club is already trying to offload you. Especially given the way he left us.

Spot on. No pride in your own performance.
Looking for the easy ride as we’re all the others.

Is anyone surprised. The guy is a low life, about to abandon another sinking ship. Second time in 2 years. Deadset coward of the highest order.

The sinking ship is throwing him overboard. Its sink or swim you cant blame him for that.

Isaac Moses should have done his homework before sending his client to that club. Surely the cap position and politics should have been well known to player managers.

He has a contract. And he doesn’t have to go anywhere if he doesn’t want to.

Neither did Robbie Farah!

Not sure how that’s relevant to Woods at the Dogs, but righto ?

If Woods learned anything from the Farah situation, no point digging your heals in when a club is shopping you around. It is an indication your not wanted so if you are being sought by a club like the Sharks its a win for everyone, is it not?

I heard Cleary wants no part of Woods return was shot down at any price. I don’t know internally the deal but Woods was bad mouthing Go and Pascoe last year and pretty much slammed management when he left.
Not only this but it was dragged on through the media and Dib also confirmed he signed earlier. Woods would have zero credibility at WT especially as he was captain schettino of the sinking ship and got off quickly.

Screwed move by ivan not dirctly saying he wants no part of woods. He would definitely draw headlines if he did and avoids it by being neutral

Shrewd???

Yes thats the one

He played very well yesterday. I thought he did well last year up until he got injury about half way through the season. When he came back after the injury he wasn’t in the same form as the beginning of the season. Similar to Packer this year.

Grant played well , as well as our big name front row guys , when the 3 were on the field we went well , if grant is leaving then we need another big body , we need 3 going forward

He was prepared to send three of his clients there - i think Isaac was looking after his own pocket.

Definitely a good backup option. Played well yesterday but I would say that performance was above his average.

Interesting to me that Tigers played Grant yesterday, as he's not figured in many rounds this year. Yesterday for Tigers was close to a full-strength team.

In the coverage Joey said he asked Grant if he was going to Newcastle and Grant said no he loves it at the Tigers. I'd think if he was going Johns would have some info on it.

He was great yesterday, would play him next week.

Trouble with Grant is - he only plays well when he's looking for a new contract.

He possibly could be a keeper if we only put him on weekly contracts.

The sinking ship is _throwing him overboard._ Its sink or swim you cant blame him for that.

Hope he has a fridge tied to his legs, and gets eaten by a/the Sharks.

The ire of fans when players do wrong.

I thought he was given a run to increase his value for any mid-season trades, but maybe that's just me.

He did well and a club wanting a prop would surely consider him.
