he didnt seem *to put his body on the line for Sheens - do you think he would do it for Potter.
I'm fearful that Moltzen can't change. Some people are born with a backbone, some with a wishbone. Moltzen is to Potter what the Lion was for the Wizard of Oz. To find his heart. We still dont know what an in form Moltzen looks like or if there is such a thing.

And if he can't find his heart because of his knee reco then please disregard the above. Thats a different story.

Sporting Bet are taking bets on how many games moltzen will pull out of 5 mins before kick off..

I firmly believe that Potter will give Moltzen a chance - whether or not he takes it is another thing.

Moltzen shouldn't expect the same "favouritism" he was shown by Sheens - it's make or break time for you Tim.

Here we go again….
Considering he continues to play what is considered one of the toughest sports after a knee recon and having to have a metal plate put in his head after it was caved in a by a wayward knee I doubt he is short of heart.
But I'll leave it to the keyboard warriors , who put their health on the line every week , to their own opinions.

2012 was a disaster for the whole football squad, yet Moltzen seem to be signaled out as the whipping boy. We all know he had a few shockers but he had plenty of mates in the shocker department.

Like the rest of the squad Iam willing to give him a fair go in 2013 before I start throwing mud. Nrl is a team sport and when a team is going well the individual players are going well and the opposite applys when the team is playing busted like last year.

I dont know if he will even crack the top 17, but if he dose I hope he puts egg on a few people faces

I thought I was a fool but i just met a bigger one. did you care to read the last line of my post. What does that mean to you. I thought it was, pardon the pun, - 'black & white"

Moltzen was terrible in 2012 and barring 6 weeks at the end of 2011 he was just as bad.

Happy to see Potter give him a go if he earns it though.

It is a new start

I read all of your post and your last line has no relation to what I wrote.
I did not quote you and my reply was a general one.

He needs to shine without his b/friend.
He only kills it on the back of benji….to be a true first grader he must adapt to the rest of his team mates, rather than pay them out when the urge hits.
Plenty of players play on after serious injuries.......not many chicken out of contests as often as Timid, but we have also seen his courage as well.....tackling T-Rexx head on one on one close to the line takes balls.....so why does he auto switch off at times?
He has tealent no doubt but he has to prove himself not off benjis coat tails....still has a fair bit of growing up to do imo

I can't see this thread being particularly productive. I agree with smeg's post 100% though.

moltzen seems to be a touchy subject here on this forum

I certainly cant find a place for Moltz in my top 17 at this stage, but any guy who has copped so much critisism and struggled to secure a spot and still goes out of of his way to help the young guys who are competing for his position is alright with me. He will play his share of first grade thid year at either fullback or centre.

I dont think he's in a position to be offering advice to young blokes,…..he should be getting as much as he can himself

That role is close to a (C) role....that needs to be earnt
