Tim Sheens contract extension

I would not be doing anything to the season is done and dusted. I do not expect to win the title, but I do expect lots of further improvement over the next three weeks and a solid showing in the final series

I don't want to see another coach come in, put the last brick on the building and claim it as his.

Tim has delivered by getting us into the semi finals and deserves the extension the club promised him.
Everyone pointed the finger his way for missing out in recent years now hopefully they will point the finger and give him the praise he deserves.

I suspect Tim won't want much beyond one year anyway. The stress the job brings can't be worth it …... unless you passionately love what you do.

yeah I said before even if we made the finals that I would like to see Sheens move on, still feel the same. I guess I'm expecting more hair pulling and head banging in the coming years in regards to team and bench selections :/.

At any rate, decisions shouldn't be made until after the season is over anyway.

Yeah credit where credits due….though he got more than enough chances.

Cant help but think that if we selected the right team, addressed individual players fundamental errors & weaknesses, taught Benji a little patience ..just a little…this could have been a 2005 repeat as its there for the taking.
Chances of all that happening at the pointy end of the season with this coaching staff are very remote
So Im all for ....thanks for the one semis appearance in 5 years Tim,now meet your replacement who we think may optimise our considerable talent rather than just elongate his own career path another year or two.

Im not sure which way to lean here… I'm a fan of Tim Sheens and totally admire his knowledge for the game of Rugby League. I also believe with Noyce gone, Tim has been getting his own way for the past 2 years in relation to the Checkbook and Player Recruitment. If this is the case, he has produced the Tigers as a premiership threat and maybe another 1-2 years is acceptable? With that being said, while I'm not as frustrated as some of you, I still struggle with some of the processes we seem to have gone through to get the current result....

Without the full understanding of the who, what & where at Camp Concord, I'll leave this one to the CEO. I would hope Tim has set KPI's and if these have not been met, well its time for someone to make a decision. At the end of the day, the CEO is accountable to the Board, not the Coach!!!

The Board.. ..Wests Tigers Board…

Sheens doesn't look like someone who is tired of Coaching to me...

Sheens deserves some loyalty, don't want to see our club going through the silly situation Parra is in at the moment.

I have been told before that Royce, as maligned as he is, is often the voice of reason Sheens listens to.

It will make it interesting to see what he does without him there

Maybe Sheens should leave the Tigers & go to St Helens as Royces assistant ,& improve the prospects of both teams?

The Wests Tigers have already shown Sheens alot of loyalty. He is already here next year.
