Tim Sheens Happy Days

coaches make decisions as too which person plays where.
sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
when they don't it brings great anger/frustration from all areas.

now give an honest answer to this:
does anyone think that wests-tigers would have won a comp if Tim Sheens was not the coach ?
.

What does that have to do with picking players out of position in 2009?

Would we have won the comp in 05 if Macca played instead of patty?
Would we have won the comp in 05 if we had to play Parra/Melb in the semis?
Would we have won the comp in 05 if Prince wasnt there?
Would we have won the comp in 05 if we didnt merge in 00?
Would we have won the comp in 05 if Benji was born 10 years earlier?

Hey Bug could be worse we could have Richie Cummingham as coach….

You're extremely boring.

Just out of curiosity, do you think the reason we've won 3 in a row is largely due to Gallant?

Ummm . . . yes I do Don.

He has provided that extra bit of strike power and security. This along with the more important factors of having a real number 7 in there who is an absolute talent and having Benji at 5/8 has helped greatly.

Sure Benji might play 1st receiver at times but he does not have the pressure of steering the team around the park. He definately now has a roving commision in attack at 3rd, 2nd or 1st receiver.

Our strike power is increased immensly. When your team scores a try, not only does it potentially give you 6 points, but it takes the ball away from the opposition for about 5 minutes as try scoring chews up the clock.

Denying the other team of possession is the best form of defence. So when you have more strike power in your side, you technically limit you opposing sides possession which in effect limits their scoring potential.

Gallant = strike power.

You forgot to mention he is a tenacious defender….who will put his body on the line to stop the opposition scoring......No need to fear when the
Mouse is at the rear....building a good understanding with Ryan and Tui....I'd go as far as to say a big improvement in D allover the park can be put down to Shannon at Fullback....he barks all day.....Even Skando said the pigs listen.....

Plays with guts, determination, pride and passion in the jumper....It's the only way he knows how....

Positionally I can't see where he has put a foot wrong either....Safe under the high ball....He kinda reminds me of another fullback we had for a while....only he's got him covered for pace......

If he wears an eye-patch, you must be Stevie Wonder.

Its funny how some put our poor seasons failures down to Morris replacing Prince. We made the semisonly once in the 3 years Prince was with us and he hasnt made the semi's since he's left us. Why is so much importance put on him?

Because he's the only halfback we've had since Sheens has been at the club.
