In his time with us he was a one trick pony,had a great run at the back end of 2005 that was based on a very good game plan, a very well balanced 17,a good run from the injury god and a comp that saw most of the other real contenders struggling at the wrong end of the season. I do give Sheens a big wrap for the way he prepared his team and the game plans he put in place over that period.
Things changed like they do every year after 2005 and I dont think Sheens recruited or put game plans in place to meet the changing game. Okay over the next seven years he had two very good streaks that took him well into September but for the most part of that time he could only be judged as a failure.
I dont blame Sheens as much as I blame the board, because they were the ones who did not react to his poor performance till late last year. Anyway enough said about Sheens that chapter has now closed
