Listening to the broadcast of BRET vs. Wenty and the commentator mentioned that Tim Simona has been re-signed.

Simona himself confirmed via Twitter.
 
Good news. I really like Tim, hopefully keeps getting better, could use more depth in the centers

Sounds like a re-building phase as opposed to a ''recruiting for depth as opposed to the main squad" as Shines puts it.

Hold yer horses … Don't we re- sign players then a week or two later shop them around.
Timmy Simona might want to get his manager ready for an upcoming trip down to the Shire for a very public coffee and cake with Mr Flanagan etc
 
He was solid today for the nsw cup team in thier victory. Although the best player was iosefa. Humble was also good ( although he prob still doesent demand a fg spot), josh Davis was the best of the forwards with ray and junior solid as they should be. Jy hitchox was very impressive till he was injured.
 
Would be good to resign him and let beau, Utai and Tuqiri go i would not mind a

Yeah and he was brilliant. But I think he has worked too hard on centre to be shifted. Plus, I don't think he would want that. That said, I really would love to see Lawrence dropping back on the last to run the kicks back.

Would love to see simona squeezed in somewhere. I think he will miss out tho unless there are injuries
 
Good news. Seen a few games of him playing and he is solid. Was he injured this year or something? otherwise he should of got more runs with firsts. Runs the ball back with intent to get to that try line every time etc.

Would love to have him at fullback next year if Teddy starts in U20s

Humble is no world beater but he is a better option at 7 than:

Farah
Marshall

He is a better option at 6 than:

Fulton
Lawrence
Ayshford

Yes, Tim basically confirmed on twitter earlier in the day,
"silly rumors, still at tigers next year"

Caine actually said it on the broadcast before Simona posted it to twitter but okay.

Spot on. I can't fathom as to why we went with the options we did instead of Humble or even Miller for that matter. Our selection policy all year has been nothing short of abysmal.
