Time for ALL Wests Tigers Fans to back our Baby Tigers

If you believe all the media reports, if Robbie Farah plays ths Sunday it will probably be his last game till Round 12, and most of us most be thinking that friggin team bus driver musthave ran over a plague of black cats again up the freeway to Campbeltown last week.

Hence the Injury toll is looking like this at the moment….please add if I have missed anyone.

Bryce Gibbs (knee, Round five)
Junior Moors (foot, Round six)
Liam Fulton (shoulder, Round seven)
Gareth Ellis (ankle, Round seven)
Nathan Waters (foot, Round seven)
Ben Murdoch-Masila (shoulder, Round eight)
Robert Lui (ankle, Round 9)...Bye Round
Lote Tuqiri (arm, Round 12)
Robbie Farah (groin, Round 12)
Chris Lawrence (hip,Round 15 )
Beau Ryan (groin, indefinite)
Nu Akeripa (foot, indefinite)

Now most NRL fans would be thinking it's all over red rover, but in times of adversity like this , it's us fans that have to be strong in numbers and voice and try and carry our great team across the line where we can hopefully be 5 wins up after Round 11.....that's only 3 more wins from 7 games as Round 9 is a bye and will give the team a 50% strike rate and still a great chance of making the eight after all the troops are all back.

What I saw during the first half against Canberra was a Grand final winning team, and if we can jag some wins while our injured troops are missing , I still reckon we can be there come the first week in October.

So let us all stay proud and keep the faith , because the unexpected wins are always the sweetest , and we all feel more comfortable when the Wests Tigers are the Underdogs.

So Cmon Baby Tigers , go out there and beat the Rorters and then the mountain won't look as high.

Rounds till Robbie & Lote are back....Rd 4 to 11

Round 4..... SFS 3:00, Sun 3 Apr..... Sydney Roosters - Wests Tigers................ - WIN 😛ray:
Round 5..... SFS 7:30, Fri 8 Apr....... Wests Tigers - South Sydney Rabbitohs....... - LOSE I think, but who knows
Round 6..... SKL 7:35, Fri 15 Apr...... Gold Coast Titans - Wests Tigers............ - WIN
Round 7..... SFS 7:35, Fri 22 Apr....... Wests Tigers - Brisbane Broncos ............ - WIN, Baby Tigers get revenge
Round 8 .....CNB 2:00, Sun 1 May....... Canberra Raiders - Wests Tigers............. - LOSE I think
Round 9......BYE
Round 10.... ANZ 7:30, Sat 14 May...... South Sydney Rabbitohs - Wests Tigers..... - Tough Again
Round 11.... CSS 7:30, Sat 21 May....... Wests Tigers - Penrith Panthers............. - WIN

IT's all possible , and more ....and how sweet will all those wins feel in Chris Lawrence's lounge room, knowing the boys are getting him primed for semi finals football :sign:

I'm with you as well. I was thinking the same thing, now is the time for the fans to come out in force. We have some great depth at the moment which I feel comfortable will pull us through these hard times.

It all will depend I think on how well Miller goes, here's hoping he slots right in, Moltzen kills it in the centres and George Ndaira proves to be a good back up for Robbie.

We're still running out with a fair side at least. The Roosters will be a hard ask I feel and the Bunnies as well, although with Manly running them down at the back end of last nights game, I think the Bunnies are still capable of switching off.

Tough times but a chance for those who have wanted an opportunity to STEP UP! I'll be at the SFS tomorrow as well in the western stand.

As depressing as all these injuries are, I'm keeping the faith and hope to see big Tigers crowds at the games!

Your team needs you, people, so it's time to step up!!!

GO TIGERS!!! :sign:

Ndaira sounds familiar but i cant recall anything about him playing or what he is like.
Anyone care to shed some light?

It would be great to have our young team return serve after they got us late last year in a similar way. Even though we went to the semis, that game still hurt. Go Tigers!

Would not write the Canberra game off just yet . And the Penrith game is that during Origin I think they will lose a few Probably Petero and Lewis maybe Jennings

Great thread! I think we all needed a bit of a boost after this horror week of injuries, so I'm with ya mate!

Any game is winnable just look at FA cup when sides from 4th Division beat teams in top flight . It is all attitude and mind set . we need to have the same mindset that we had after souths debacle last year . We will win no matter what It may not be pretty and typical Tigers but that will come later .

Realistically if we can manage to win half of our next 6 games it will be a fantastic achievement with that sort of injury toll. By the time we emerge from the bye round we should be looking a bit better with Lawrence, Lote, and possibly Farah to come back in.

If by Round 12 everyone bar Robbie is back and we're 6-5 we would still be well placed. Bottom line - make the finals and hope your best team is back then. It's a hassle now but you'd rather these things happen at the start rather than August.

I'd be feeling better if Moltzen played two full games of State Cup then played NRL last week. He'd be much more fit hardened to step up for us then what he is. But Sheens knows best…..........................

black and gold will never fold ive still got faith can't see us losing a game :master:

Black and Gold Folded 12 years ago in the NRL and 6 or 7 year ago in the NSW Cup.

Wests Tigers colours are Black, White and Gold.

Injuries don't stop because you already have 10-12 blokes out injured. The natural progression of injuries continues and probably increases the more you get. It tends to become a snowball effect because large volume replacements are forced to step up to a different level.

Players were played injured at the start of the season instead of rested. That has caused us major problems.

Go the Cubs! Cubs 22 Rooters 10\. Great chance for the future of our club to grit there teeth and have a go!
