Time to Give Credit to JT?

Well imagine where we would be sitting on the ladder if he didn't make brain dead team selections for the first half of the season

Imagine how unentertaining the forum would be without the odd brain dead posts from the likes of a few who know so much….

Good thread

despite supposed backing from the board , JT put his job on the line 3 weeks ago with Farah being dropped to NSW Cup .

3 losses & the pitchforks would've been out for him & he may not have seen out the season .

People scoffed at the wins against the dragons & eels saying they were bellow par opposition but the eels went on to beat Manly & the dragons had narrow losses to the dogs & Broncos .

Then there's the win against the Cowboys ….
The defending premiers who the week before , without Thurston , took the Storm to the wire .

We've come a long way this year & JT deserves credit for it .

I thought JT picked the perfect time because we were morals against the eels and the dragons..

You must have only been a Tigers fan for 3 weeks if you think we are or have ever been morals against any side. 2 years ago, we lose both those games.

He gets a satisfactory mark from me or an as expected. I had Wests finishing between 8-12 this year and we should pretty much achieve this.

I think Tim Sheens said "You're not a first grade player until you have played 50 games". Many of the so-called "kids" made that mark this year and I think some of us getting better is just natural improvement as we get used to the rigours and grind of top class footy.

In fairness to JT our start to the season was horrible and our ladder position has gotten better over the past few weeks. We were well below par but are now running within expectation. A top 6 finish would be an over-achievement and JT should be congratulated for that.

FWIW - I get the feeling that some posters believe that the dropping of Farah was an inspired decision. I believe that we'd be still winning games if Farah was playing (neutral effect) as our improvement started when he played from the bench. Nothing to do with "team cohesion" and more in line with how much cap he is taking next year.

Is it Sandercock who has made the difference this year ? Last year the team were coached like robots and we ended up equal last.

Has Sandercock injected the creativity into the team ?

It's interesting if this is the reason why we've improved. As Geo states if it is JT gets the credit because it's made a big difference.

You disagree?? You think playing Milone and Buchanan were good selections?

Umm no, little bit longer then 3 weeks, try 30 years. Obviously you know nothing about footy if you thought we werent morals against a shot parra team with nothing to play for and missing 9 regular first grade players. Or against a dragons missing dugan , and absolutely no attack who just got smashed by the titans. If ive been a fan for 3 weeks you must be living under a rock and been a fan for the last 3 minutes.

No such thing as a certainty in the NRL.
I've heard dozens of players state you only have to be off your game 1 or 2 % and anyone can beat anyone in this comp.
I'll take their word over some forum expert.
Morals lol

Still following me around lonely little girl, i told you im taken lol. Must be exhausting and lonely waiting for me to post.

So a tigers team with there first choice 13 on the field but who are of their game by 1%(and you can measure being off by 1% how exactly) will be beaten by a team who is missing 9 regular starters, is shot, and can no longer make finals.

:crazy :bash :roll

They'd measure it I guess by completion rates, miss tackles & errors.
Pretty simple really

How about you cut the crap & post like a grown up?

Manly were morals against the same Parramatta team, but they were _precisely_ 10% off their game and lost.

I tipped Parra to beat Manly …. Don't know where you get that Manly were morals given their position on the ladder.

He got it from the same place we apparently were morals against the dragons and Parra… Ie: there's no such thing as a moral, that's the beauty of sport

Any more personal attacks and your time on this forum is over. Post maturely or not at all.

This forum is alot more restricted than it used to be.
There are many contentious issues and if people can't speak their mind no wonder topics get silly.

The rules are not difficult to adhere to. Some however seem to struggle with this concept.
