What do you fellow posters think?

I think Pascoe and the board should extend his contract to 2018.

Ha!

Can't we just buy a Real Coach, Cleary says he's still available

Cleary a real coach?
Show me his win/loss record again and I'll tell you why we shouldn't hire him.
The guy is a myth who won't do any better than JT.

Cleary's overall winning percentage is 49%. JT's is 43\. Cleary has also coached 120 more games than Taylor.

Well that settles it, I'd keep JT as our coach based on that alone (even with a lower percentage it would appear he has more upside). Factoring in Cleary would take at least one whole season to adapt to our team and it really doesn't build a good case for bringing in a new coach. Also, Cleary has the personality of cardboard..

This forum is alot more restricted than it used to be.
There are many contentious issues and if people can't speak their mind no wonder topics get silly.

The rules are not difficult to adhere to. Some however seem to struggle with this concept.

Its not the rules some may have issues with.
People being told to be positive about a coach or player thats the thing.
And ain't speaking about myself.

No one is told to do anything here, all youre asked is to follow the rules
If youre referring to this thread, there is a '?' at the end of the title which says a lot about it all.

His son would be handy , kicks goals from everywhere & plays alright too

You are not wrong, young Cleary is really playing beyond his years, and at 18 he could be anything.

The confusing part i find is that rankin is not kicking. He strikes the ball better, looks more likely to kick a goal. Why has moses taken over? Imagine missing semis because of a missed penalty goal.

Cleary senior as a coach is way overrated by many on here - he really didn't do a great deal with a decent Penrith side in his time there. I don't think he would do any better here than what Taylor has done already.

However, his son would be a real bonus! At just 18 years old and only a handful of NRL matches under his belt, he has already surpassed Brooks as a halfback who can take control of a game, imo.

Cleary has played well, but the amount of halves who have come in at his age and dominted, only to have average careers are a dime a dozen.

Cowboys win might have looked a tad better then it was in reality.

Not taking credit away from anyone. However they were listless again today.

Dragons were good last night however they did have Dugan back.
