@genoshan said:It was attrocious how oztips sold out to yahoo. Absolutely ruined our tipping comp. I never put in my tips once the change over happened and why do it mid season ?
I will check out footyipping site and let the guy who runs ours know.

Its easy to say that without Yahoo waving a bit fat cheque in front of you…. Yahoo would have seen the "potential" considering the live odds sports market is starting to boom, and paid massive overs for it.
Hey, If yahoo were gonna offer me 7 figures for what is nothing more than a couple of MSAccess databases on steroids, i'd take the cash too...

Yahoo took a simple idea and tried to overdo with confusing menus, stats, and stacks more advertising.
Other parts of it were also broken on launch, such as checking last weeks results.
It went from fast and efficient (much like WTF) To slow and bloated.
and worst of all - THEY FORCED YOU to create a yahoo account to continue tipping etc. I already had one, however one of the tipping contests i was in last year INSTANTLY lost 50% of its players since most were "non-information-technology-type" people who didn't want/need new accounts.
