Titans Bulldogs *SPOILERS*

A very frustrating game in many ways for the Titans how many times did they nearly score….. As for the refs, nothing changes!

Ref calls play on, then try is scored and goes to video ref? (who rules no try)

What the F***?

Whats your point?
Ref was unsure obviously….not sure which try you mean, I was nodding off and missed part of the game

If a try wasn't scored, the play on call would have stood. Instead after the referee called play on, Bird stripped(1v1) the ball off the bulldogs player and scored, went to the video referee, who ruled no Try based on what happened BEFORE the referee ruled play on.

And then they awarded the titans a scrum feed.

Yeh I saw that but still cant recall what happened BEFORE the referee ruled play on.

I think it was still the correct decision, knock on wasnt it?

I think it was a double knock on.

But surely after you yell "Play on", you can't rule on what happened before that?

Well if the on field ref was wrong, thats what the VR is for.
Double checking
Refs arent perfect you know.

yeah i think they can rule before that if the ref made a mistake. it was definately a double knock on when they went both jumped for the ball from the kick

i think titans had 7 tries disallowed. cartwright must have wanted to jump out of the coaches box!

What they did was all by the rule book, but it shows the flaw of the system that if Greg Bird got tackled and the Titans scored off the next play the try would have been allowed since they can't go back to the play before.

Titans suck.
InsaneInk is right for once.
Who cares really…
As long as it doesn't happen to the Tigers, you got nothing to worry about.

What a woeful game - numerous kicks charged down - knock ons galore - bizarre refereeing - wonder what Buzz Rothfield thinks considering most of the top 34 players are playing this round. And what is wrong with Ennis - thinks he is still playing SOO 1 - head high tackle, knee to Campbells haed as he runs past - clown.

It was almost like watching one of OUR horror games
In regards Ennis he got away with another high shot after the one on Prince.
With a bit of luck he might get a holiday.

Triple B articulated what I was trying to say.

@ink. That's Arjen Robben. Thought I'd change up the amount of Farah/Benji/Tigers avatars on this site :stuck_out_tongue:
