I've just seen them go to $1.11 and now they're at $1.55.

Either someone placed a ridiculously large bet about 2 hours ago, or this was a glitch

Stuff like this just makes me nervous that somethings gone wrong on the inside...

Im not joking. You would be amazed at the easy money I make on Betfair by making markets early in the week at rediculous odds.

Betfair is a betting exchange not a bookmaker. The odds you see are bets being offered by punters. If someone has Titans at $1.01 they're hoping someone will be dumb enough to accept the bet. The bigger issue would be if a lot of people were laying the Tigers (placing them at long odds), especially if they couldn't get takers.

If you ever watch games live on nrl.com scoreboard, they list the betfair odds which are always well ahead of the actual game highlights. You can tell when someone scores based on the odds dropping all of a sudden. Even then it's not unusual to see both sides under $2 for brief periods.

Have to agree with you. Betfair is a good way to make decent money having a bet on sport. I got great value the Tigers/Tigers half/fulltime double last week.
