Anyone heading up here for this game? Tickets go on sale for it tomorrow. Hope to see a few friendly faces there. Who knows, it could be the game that scrapes us into the finals (or sees us miss out, or sees us secure a top 4 finish…. and all other possibilities lol). Look forward to catching up with you.

I am giving it a miss this year. Never thought I would say that. Gold Coast was the one trip I thought I would do every year.

I'd like to. I didn't come up to Brisbane this year. I'll wait and see what day the game is on. We should already know so people can book travel and accommodation earlier so it's not as expensive. You know it makes sense.

Not sure on costs etc. Would be a lot quicker to fly tho. I booked mine today it was $155 return all up.

I had a bit of a look for you mate.

If you leave on the Friday you won't get there in time, it arrives Robina at 10pm after leaving Strathfield at 7.26am
It isn't cheap. Child over 15 is classified as adult. Adult price is $110.00 one way. They do have student costs however it won't show me the price without putting in a student ID number. You would have to have a play with it and see what deal you can come up with.

However if you leave the day before the game (Thur) - Trains depart Strathfield at 7.26am and arrive that night in Robina at 7.10pm.

For some reason both trips the train takes you to Casino and you get a bus to the game from there.

It would be quicker and cheaper to Fly up, it would save you on accomadation as well as you will need 2 nights in a hotel on top of the $220 fares.

ohhh truee truee… ill see how much a return is with jetstar... should be pretty cheap..

roughly how much are hotels up there, good ones, but not too good ?

We have wussed out and gone for good seats as opposed to sitting at the end of the field with the WT supporters. However, BJ has or is getting seats in the away supporters bay. We will be doing our best to make some noise where we are too though, but I'll really enjoy seeing that army of black, white and gold at the end. I'm going to have to bring my camera so I can get some pics of you all in full song as we launch our assault on the first finals series in years WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!
 
thinking about forking out the $200 to get flights up on the friday and back on the saturday.

tickets in the away supporters section u reckon is the way to go?

the Gareth Army will be there in bay 14\. looking forward to a massive day/night.
 
I will be in Brisbane Wednesday & Thursday. Was going to hang around and head home from the Gold Coast. Than I looked at the pricing structure for that place and thought better of it
