ANy news on TNT? Has anyne seen the boys training or heard anything regarding his comeback?
He was out for a long time so who know what will happen.
Fingers crossed we will comeback even TNT at 80% will be great

he is training again..
he is doing straight line work
starting to i beleive do sideways work (lateral)

Still Pushing S@#t uphill to get back onto the paddock..

its now a day by day thing….

Shame - I honestly am thinking that we assume he wont return (been out over a yr now and will need lower level grade matches), if he does return thats a massive bonus - we came 3rd without him this yr and should onl be better this yr.

I've heard through the grapevine that Beau Ryan is training pretty much Harder than anyone else in the squad - which is apparently nothing new for him - his training work ethic is apparently above reproach, and is considered pound for pound a remarkably strong guy - one of the strongest in the squad.

any truth to this, T-REXX?

Not that i know of but Beau has always had a very good work ethic.. and always gets serious with his training.. but as for pound for pound strength i dont know.

I recall at last years Fan training day in Feb that B was doing some extra laps of concord with Flanno.

I heard that and seen that , every time I watched a training session at Concord

Sorry willow for drawing this away from TNT -

I was more thinking that if the big fella doesn't make it back for round 1, despite all the Beau Ryan hate that goes on in this forum, he will make the Wing position his home in 2011 in lieu of the Tank, if his attitude and training is as good as I have heard.

Consider it discussing "Plan B" (for Beau…)

TOTALLY CORRECT - part of Beau's value is that he gives those around him a "hurry up" on the training paddock!!

As for pound-for-pound strength - he is in our top 5 (although it remains yet to be officially recorded in 2010-2011 pre-season)!!

And regarding Nella - we'll know better in January (right Troy?)….

Mitch Brown is easily the next person to get TNT's job. I can only see Beau getting a bench spot. That's about it. Go Mitch Brown!!!

x 2

x3.

I love Beau's heart, hard work and enthusiasm though. It's hard to quantify the effect it has on the rest of the team. Mitch doesn't have that.

I know we bought McKinnon, but on last years form i'd put Brown at fullback - hes as safe as a bank back there - and Tuiaki on the wing if he's fit (Ryan if he's not).

Mckinnon would prob get lost in my shuffle, but Brown is still only young, and if Ryan misfires as Tuaikis' safety net, he'd nab the wing spot after him, Mckinnon at fullback.

For TNT's sake it would be great to see him back on the paddock playing.
hopefully it all works well for him in the off season.
it is a good sight when TNT is in full ramapage running down the sideline and runs over his opponents.

This is the beauty of the depth we have,if TNT don't play Brown,Daniela or Ryan could all take that spot and each have played 50 to 60 NRL games.

I would love to see Taniela back to his damaging best (Dont get me wrong i am not bagging him). But realistically i cannot see him coming back (I would love to be proven wrong). If he hasnt been able to train for 12 months it is not a good sign. I would be happy with brown or daniela on the wing, both are solid options and wouldnt let anyone down.
