To sack a coach or not

I don't really care about parramatta but was having this discussion with a mate that is a para supporter, if come round 12 parramatta do not look like even a chance of making the top 8 what happens to Kearney?
Just keen on every one else thoughts
I rekon he should go if they are in that position, if they are up close to the 8 or look like they can get there then I would keep him. Of course you have to give him a year or so to settle in , but I think they could have finished better than 2nd last last year . In the modern era you need to produce results or to at least show promise

What do you think?

Anything above the bottom 4 in 2012 will be a bonus for Parramatta… Kearney will need to get his forwards more mobile and implement a few of his old technics he had at Melbourne. In 2011, Parramatta had the slowest linespeed in defence I have seen for a few years. They hardly dominated other forward packs as they didnt meet them at the advantage line...

Buying a Halfback and Centre isnt gona fix Parra's problems. Yes they lacked creativity at times, but there problem is they leak far too many points to be competitive. Its a culture change in the forwards which will take time and a few tantrums before they will become a force again...

I say he will be given his full term!

He came in at short notice with probably the worst roster over the last ten years for any nrl side. I don't think you can judge him based off last year.
This year he has handpicked recruits and I'd say he will add a few more next year too. If he was coaching the roosters then yeah maybe he'd e gone by round 12\. He'll see out his contract for sure.

Kearney has plenty of support from the Parramatta board. He has finally got some recruitment control after Anderson left the team in a shambles. He will be given his current contract to provide results. Sacking him mid season will give the team an excuse not to perform for the rest of the year.
