Todd Payten names Holden Cup team

Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Todd Payten has named his team to play the Gold Coast Titans at Skilled Park on Sunday, August 4.

Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses have been named in the halves with Kurtis Rowe returning to his preferred full-back position after some impressive form on the wing lately.

Wests Tigers sit in sixth place on the ladder and can't afford to lose to the 12th placed Titans such is the congestion around the bottom half of the top eight.

Kick-off is 12.45pm

1\. Kurtis Rowe
2\. Delouise Hoeter
3\. Nathan Milone
4\. Manaia Rudolph
5\. Leva Li
6\. Mitchell Moses
7\. Luke Brooks
8\. Andy Fiagatusa
9\. Manaia Cherrington
10\. Nathan Brown
11\. Kyle Lovett
12\. Brendan Santi
13\. Fosio Tatola

14\. Dallas Graham
15\. Andrew Kazzi
16\. Jake Dooner
17\. Matt Mulcahy
18.James Luff

Once again the back line changes again! Why would you change a team when it worked so well last week? And Todd, when will you let these boys settle in time for finals?

I thought that was how the backline played last week despite where they were named

He's switched Hoeter and Li.
God help us when Brooks goes up to the NRL, that means Mulcahy will be back in the halves!!

You'd have to think this week would be a good week for him to debut , the Titans have a big forward pack but aren't overly mobile around the park and their halves ( as halves ) would be the least experienced in the NRL

Nathan Milone - any chance of a future in NRL?
He played for holy cross ryde and had good footwork/speed/strength but he hardly ever gets a mention in the match reports

He's been mentioned a little bit lately. Keen to see how he develops as we need some strike centres coming through the grades.

Surprised the gun centre from the sg ball team hasn't got a go off the bench yet. Scott Satterthwaite or something like that….?

Important game for the boys to win today against a lower placed opposition with the Rabbits losing last night & the Storm up against the 1st placed Raiders with the Knights, Broncs & Cows just outside the 8
