Watching the Cowboys VS Storm game tonight and I noticed the #11 …
Looked a lot like Adam Blair when he was in his prime ( @ the Melbourne Storm )

Looks like they've created an Adam Blair version 2.0
Before he sucked.
Keep an eye on this guy, big year ahead of him.

Still hope Adam Blair really lifts this year and gets back to his previous beastly self,
he has looked a little better than 2012.

Definitely reminiscent of the 2010/11 blair, that similar running/hit up style, similar pace and he's a kiwi too! Hope to see him playing for the kiwis soon. A lot of it is probably down to playing at storm in the same position as blair did with the same coach.

He's got a LOT to prove before he gets to Adam Blair standard. Honestly, what Melbourne have down there is less about individual talent and more about coaching and discipline. I admire that club for it's commitment to hard work and discipline. They are the benchmark for a reason. In my opinion Adam Blair's issue has been a less structured and less disciplined environment and it's hurt him.

So are you saying Adam Blair isn't smart enough to adapt to a different environment?

Melbourne are well disciplined and play to their structure for the entire game .thats the difference between us and them .Maybe some Discipline is needed in our joint .Tohu H arris looked sensational.id still like to see B lair in the middle.

Its the old story, average players look good in good sides. Melbourne have the best spine ever assembled, combine that with some real old hard nuts who have been playing the game for a decade and than throw some young athletes into the mix, than get Bellamy to put the mix together. Its a winning formula for the players and the team. You could throw any of our players into the mix down their and they would shine to if they were willing to play their role in the team rather than do their own thing

Same story dud recruiters equals dud recruits.

Tohu look like to will be right up there once he gets a year or two under his belt. Maybe the recruiters should llok at the Storms up and comers, they seem to have the right mentality and ability??? Something to think about.

Ask yourself this question. Would Blair be picked in any other first grade club at the moment? I have not seen this guy break the line once in the time he was been with the tigers, he is not first grade standard.

I think it's quite ironic that Melbourne are arguably the best team in the NRL (controversial) yet they struggle to get a look in down in Vic with AFL flooding the news and social media. If they were based in Brisbane, i can only imagine the fan base they'd have.

blair is a 5.5/10 player that we paid 8.5/10.

blair is still the biggest myth out there.
why am i still reading he is always the first guy to chase kicks.
this has been said by a few this year.
he hasn't chased 1 kick this year.
he is in the second line set for the next play.
the problem is when he walks so slow that if a break is made he is not in position to make a covering tackle.
this happened rd 1 when uate busted the line and he still did it last game.thankfully the line wasn't broken this time.
it's horrible to see how many plays he takes off in a game of football.

now if he decides to attack a half kicking a ball,he then takes the whole set of our possession off.100% of the time.he stands 3 back and watches and then walks down the field when we kick.

it disgusts me that he is called a leader.
the sooner he is out of here the better.

all i see is we can't play fulton and anasta.
it should be blair and anasta.

fulton pressures the kicker, and he actually gets results from it,like the kick out on the full against the knights on their first kick.
fulton does chase kicks.
fulton does cover in defense and fulton does the dirty work coming off our line.
makes more tackles and misses less.concedes less penalties.
breaks the line more ,scores more.

i'll take fulton over blair any day of the week.he kicked his arse last year and he will again this year.

the good news, potter has already reduced blair to 50min a game.no longer do i have to watch someone waste a spot on the field for the whole 80mins.

next,get him over to england.

I'd love to see Fulton to lock and play two big 2nd rowers. Something like Pettybourne and BMM.

I think Blair has been better this year and his try saver the other day was great but I agree with your sentiment regarding Fulton over Blair.
