Can the tigers survive having Lui, Ayshford and Fifita all on the field at the same time? Manly seem to target them yesterday with a lot of success. Moors and Ellis will make a difference. Lui was good in attack yesterday… but its a shame Moltzen got injured as Rugby League is 50% defence

you just reminded me of that tackle moltzen made on anthony minichello last year in our second game against the roosters, where mini though he had moltzen for pace and strength, and moltzen just hung on and rolled him into touch. One of the greatest try saves i've ever seen.

Man I miss him.

I remember that, what a tackle!

For a rookie half, I don't think Lui is a bad defender at all.

Marshall's defence is woeful though and he needs to be moved back on the same side as Lawrence asap. We cannot have him next to someone like Ayshford in the defensive line.

Geoff Daniela's hardly an improvement over Ayshford. His first contact is much better, but he's caught out of position a hell of a lot more than Aysh.

You have to remember that Lui, Ayshford and Fifita are still pretty new to first grade. Lawrence's defence wasn't good when he first came into first grade either but he improved with experience. Their defence will get better. We don't really have any better options at the moment.

And 67% of all statistics are made up on the spot.. Most games are pretty close to a 50/50 split in terms of possession, so wouldn't that make 50% attack and 50% defence? I agree with an eariler comment that Lui, Ayshford and Fifita are all pretty new to first grade so their should be some allowances.. My argument is that can we afford too many poor defenders in the line at the same time. Marshall's defence while erratic has still improved and I wouldn't say Lawrence is now flawless - the miss on Teo in the Brisbane game springs to mind. Anyway, not sure there are too much other options at the moment
